Is this legal? Is it actually free?
Yes, on both counts. Linux and the software we install (office suite, browsers, email clients, PDF tools) are free and open-source — there is no license to buy, crack, or renew, ever. You only pay for our setup, training, and ongoing support time, not for the software itself.
Will my staff be able to use it without retraining from scratch?
Mostly yes. The desktop has icons, folders, a start menu, and a taskbar — the same mental model as Windows. Anyone comfortable using a browser, email, and WhatsApp Web today can use this with about half an hour of orientation.
What about the software we already use — Word, Excel, our printer?
Word and Excel files (.docx, .xlsx) open, edit, and save normally using the free office suite we install. Printers and scanners are tested and configured during setup. If you rely on a specific Windows-only program with no equivalent, we'll flag this honestly during the free checkup rather than promise a migration that won't work well.
What happens to our existing files and email?
Before we install anything, we clone your entire drive — documents, photos, browser bookmarks, and email account settings — onto a separate backup disk, and restore your files on the new setup in familiar folders. If you ever need something restored, we work from that backup image, usually within an hour.
Can I keep my old Windows setup as a physical fallback, not just a backup file?
Yes, as an optional add-on. Instead of relying only on the backup image, we can install a second drive in your PC and leave Windows untouched and bootable on it, so you can switch back yourself in minutes without contacting us. Most desktops have room for this; some laptops don't have a spare drive bay — we'll check during the free checkup and let you know if it's possible on your hardware.
Why not just buy new computers with Windows 11 instead?
You can — but it usually costs far more than our setup fee, and most simple office work (browsing, email, documents, printing) doesn't actually need new hardware. We're upfront if your case genuinely needs new machines instead.
What if something breaks after you leave?
WhatsApp support is included free for the first month after setup. After that, our optional monthly care plan covers remote troubleshooting and updates — billed month to month with no lock-in contract, or you can simply call us for one-off help whenever needed.
Can you also remove our old cracked Windows or Office activator?
Yes — this is part of a standard migration. We remove the old, unsupported system entirely (after backing up your files) so there's nothing left that could trigger malware, data loss, or a sudden "not genuine" lockout.
Do you only work in Lahore?
We're based in Lahore and prioritise on-site visits within the city. For offices outside Lahore, remote setup and support is available — ask us during your free checkup.
